CEREBRAL PALSY

There are many types of cerebral palsy affecting different aspects of limbs. We have a patient who suffers with cerebral palsy, who we ultimately diagnosed with ADD and placed him on medication. The medication had a poitive effect on his central nervous system, and also his mood. Subsequently when we started treating patients with Ketamine, we invited him in. He received intramuscular injections with remarkable improvement of his mood and functional abilities. Previously, he was able to sit cross legged and leaning forward as he had poor spinal strength.  As we did more treatments and also moved him to intravenous syringe pump treatments his ability to walk and his posture improved dramatically.  His mood had improved dramatically and at one of the first treatments he stood up, very happy, raised his arms and said “you’ve given me great hope.” I jokingly said I didn’t know you were that tall.

STROKE

I have a patient who had a stroke a few years back. As a result of this incident he has been unable to use his left hand due to "spasticity" as his fingers are locked open in a "swan neck deformity." He came in recently and I had him return a few days later for a mild Ketamine treatment. To our amazement his hand markedly improved after the treatment.

DEMENTIA

We have treated a patient with dementia who was sleeping all the time for the last four years. He’s been getting simple intramuscular injections of ketamine weekly and after four weeks, he had a remarkable turn around. He continues to rally. Watch his video.
